Thank You!

Cheers!

Thank you for coming out to our First Annual Bluffton International & Craft Beer Festival.

We had an amazing, well behaved crowd of over 1,000 people, sampling over 125 different beers from 30 different unique styles of beer.

A few years ago, if someone had told me that we could draw 1,000 people to a craft beer festival in Bluffton, we’d have told them they were crazy.

Thanks PAL Volunteers!

We hope everyone had a GREAT time!  And we look forward to doing this bigger and better next year.

We’d also like to thank our volunteers from the Palmetto Animal League who enthusiastically poured the beers.

Your humble Beer Fest webmaster was too busy working at the festival (and occasionally sampling the beers and talking to fellow beer lovers) to take any pictures, so if you took any pictures, please share them on the Bluffton International & Craft Beer Festival Facebook page.

Lots of people were asking where they could buy some of the more unusual beers available at the festival.  Growlers on Hilton Head (near Fuddrucker’s and Piggly Wiggly in the strip mall across from Shelter Cove Mall) is probably the best bet in the area for some of the more unusual beers.  For Bluffton itself, Piggly Wiggly probably has the largest selection of beer.

If you’re having trouble locating a beer that you tried at the festival, drop us a note on our Facebook page, and we’ll ask the distributor to provide more information on local availability.

Thanks again!

November 3, 2012

Over 1000 people attended the first annual Bluffton International & Craft Beer Festival. We'll be back on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at The Promenade in Historic Downtown Bluffton, South Carolina.

We're planning to outdo last year's festival, which featured over 125 of the world's best ales, stouts, lagers and pilsners, also a Food Court with a wide variety of mouthwatering foods from Bluffton area restaurants and live music.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the Palmetto Animal League.
